Glass
To detect the thickness of the beer bottles, fruit bottle
Glass containers such as beer bottles and juice bottles have rigid requirements for wall and base thickness indicators. With the ERT spectral confocal sensor, the wall thickness can be directly detected in online high-speed operation and the height values of the upper and lower surfaces can be collected at the same time with a maximum frequency of 2K.

Beer bottles and juice bottles are made from glass, which is mainly composed of SiO2 and oxides of Al, Na, Ca and Mg. The proportions of these compounds fundamentally affect the mechanical strength, hardness and and thermal stability of the beer bottles themselves. The glass itself is brittle and can lead to lower tensile strengths in glass beer bottles due to microcracks and areas of mechanical weakness on the glass surface. Therefore, the thickness of the beer bottle can to a certain extent ensure that the tensile strength of the beer bottle wall can be limited to a safe range, but the thickness is too large, which will cause large production costs and bring great inconvenience for packaging and transport. The thickness of the beer bottle must then be kept within a suitable area.
